Humble Beginnings…

My name is Ashley West, & I am a portrait photographer in Columbus, Ohio. Building this studio was a huge goal of mine, and I am so grateful that my wish came true. And when I say wish, I really mean hard work, determination and grit to make it all come to life. *Humble* because it has been myself, my husband, and our family working tirelessly to take this once broken down property and turn it into an oasis.

I ended up loving the space so much that I wanted to share it with all of you.

I have been married to my husband Nick for almost 9 years, and together we have two boys & two pups. Our home is our sanctuary, our passion, and a place we love to share.

HUMBLE+PINE Studio is a big dream come true. When we purchased this property in the Fall of 2015, it was run down & neglected, but we saw possibility. We humbly worked day in and day out to renovate our home, the gardens, and the studio. We lovingly named our home OurHumbleHideAway in 2016, and the studio being surrounded by pine trees, and on our property, HUMBLE+PINE was born.
